28-year-old refuses to drive 90 minutes to drop her homeschooled 15-year-old sister off at her 18-year-old boyfriend's house on her birthday: 'At her age, I wasn’t even allowed to go on a date with my boyfriend.'

  • Am I the bad guy for not delivering my 15-year-old sister to her 18-year-old boyfriend on my 1.5 hour commute, on my birthday?

I 28F work an hour and a half away and get up early to commute two days a week.
  • My sister has found her boyfriend on Roblox and now my mom thinks I should take my sister to her boyfriend's house on the way to work....
  • Mind you at her age I wasn't even allowed to go on a date with my boyfriend (now husband).
  • The whole thing is gross to me cause he is about to move half way across the country for college and they are letting him sleep over and be all over her at the house.
  • It's feels like because he drives a BMW and is white they are just handing her over.
  • Blue BMW Coupe parked on the road during daytime
  • No dowry, no goats. I'm going to say no either way but please tell me I'm not off for thinking this is a bit much too ask.
  • I live with my son and husband and do not have time to drop off for underage d* appts.
  • If I sound bitter, I am cause I would have been buried in the yard if I tried this at 15.

  • ETA: my sister has been homeschooled her whole life and there is a major difference in life experience.
  • My parents are very religious and her upbringing has been very sheltered. AITA?
  • OP Miserable_Potato604 Edit: my mom assumed I would be fine with this and when I went to see them they just started asking what time they could drop her off I've expressed multiple times this is gross and wrong
  • Random Reddit9791 NTA. Don't enable their relationship. This is wrong on so many levels.
  • loaluh NTA. three year age gaps aren't bad when both parties are over 18, but one is barely through high school and the other is starting college. also just weird to be so trusting of someone's house (even if he's normal, who's to say his family is?)
  • Apart-Incident-4188 NTA. She is 15, dude is 18. That doesn't sit well.
  • OP Miserable_Potato604 She can find her own way but I don't think I should have to play an active part in this. Also I'm just trying to get up and go to work. The drive is already tough, we don't even live that close. I'm literally gone from 6-6. My mom stays home and I think she should be the one doing this instead of pinning it on me who already has their own family and life. Plus it doesn't sit well that everyone assumed I would be okay with this without asking. My drive time is the only peac
  • Ekim_Uhciar Would you do it if there was a couple of goats thrown in as dowry? /s Kidding, NTA
  • OP Miserable_Potato604 I mean at that point they would be my dads goats and I don't want them in my car, so it's still on them lol
  • DrRandomfist So, your vary religious parents are serving your 15 year old sister over to a dude, physically, on a silver platter? How does their beliefs allow this?
  • Repulsive Oil1587 This is fake right???
  • OP Miserable_Potato604 It's called picking and choosing
  • OP Miserable_Potato604 Haha I wish
  • FelineGood8 This relationship gives me the ick. What is wrong with your parents?
  • OP Miserable_Potato604 A lot, but I'll save that for another post →
  • [deleted] You should be more concerned about being criminally charged as an accomplice for transporting your minor sister to a sexual predator. What part of that don't you and your mom see?
  • OP Miserable_Potato604 I do see it but my mom swears it's not a big deal
